Welcome to Saathi of Rochester!
Saathi is a not-for-profit organization based in Rochester, to help South Asian women who are facing domestic violence, emotional abuse or sexual assault. Volunteers are available to help you and are sensitive to the cultural needs of South Asian women. All communication is strictly confidential and our services are free. Call us anytime, if you wish to talk to a Saathi advocate.

5th Anniversary of Saathi Picturs


Till Death Do Us part at Geva theatre in March for 4 shows starting at 7 PM on 5, 7 and 13 and at 1 PM on 15.
This play is written and directed by Saathi's board member Meera Jain relating a bitter sweet tales of three South Asian women acted seamlessly in parallel scenes by the local artists. The play was staged first at ICC on January 17 and 18 on the occasion of 5th anniversary of Saathi a fund raiser banquet. The play was a hit and was considered as one of the most effective ways to reach the community. Since it conveys a universal message of Ddomestic Violence we were asked by Geva to stage it for a wider audience.


"The Children We Sacrifice" by Grace Poore on October 11 from 2pm to 4pm at ICC. All are invited and admission is free.


SAATHI's 5th Anniversary Fund Raising Banquet on January 17 at ICC. The details, the flyer and a brochure will follow. Those who wish to put an Ad in the brochure should contact Shashi Sharma MD at 585 381 6047. Volunteers are welcome.

Release of a poem book 'Pankhuria' by Ravi Sharma in Hindi on October 20 at 2:30 pm-4:30 pm at ICC. The proceeds from the sale of the book will go to Saathi as a fund raiser. Everyone is invited.
